Secret Suite Alert! Concierge Stateroom 11006 on Disney Wish Class Ships

If you are looking to sail concierge on a Disney Cruise, consider Stateroom 11006. This stateroom is known as one of the secret suites and can be found only on the Wish Class ships -- Wish, Treasure, and Destiny. Because 11006 is an oceanview stateroom without a verandah, it often gets overlooked when booking a concierge class stateroom or suite. Even though 11006 has a bedroom that can be closed off by a regular door on one side and a pocket door on the other, it is not classified as a one bedroom suite. However, the amount of space that is in this stateroom is absolutely amazing, and the show stopper is the panoramic view thanks to massive floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the front corner port side of Deck 11.

The amount of storage and space in 11006 is jaw dropping. When Global Wishes stayed in this room, we barely were able to fill up the two closets in the entryway. We didn't use any of the storage in the long credenza where the beverage cooler is also located, nor did we fill up all of the drawers in many of the other spaces, including the ones in the bedroom. This stateroom sleeps five. There is a king size bed in the private bedroom along with a vanity area and a television. In the living room area, you can find a twin size murphy bed, a twin size bed that comes down from the ceiling, and the sofa turns into a bed as well.  The living room area has a coffee table, two chairs with another small end table, and a television. Down the short hallway is the split bath with a tub/shower and sink in one space and a water closet and another sink in the second area.

Located at the very front of the ship on deck 11, 11006 connects to 11004 which is much smaller. At the other end of the front hallway is accessible stateroom 11504 (same size as 11006) and it connects to 11502. At the very middle of the front is 11000. Before our sailing, there was some confusion expressed on our Disney Cruise Concierge Chat facebook group whether 11504 connected to 11502. To clear up the confusion, the first time we met our concierge stateroom host, Dewa, we asked him about this. Indeed, Dewa confirmed that 11504 and 11502 did connect. We alerted our concierge team hosts that the Destiny deck plans omitted showing that 11504 and 11502 connected and they made a note of it for the Tech Team. Hopefully, in the near future, DCL will correct this omission on its deck plans!

While we typically book verandah staterooms on our 26+ Disney cruises, we did worry beforehand about not having a verandah on our first Destiny sailing. However, once we got on board and checked out our huge concierge stateroom we felt that the amount of space and huge windows more than made up for not having a verandah to enjoy. When we got the urge for fresh air, we simply walked down the hallway and up the stairs to the concierge lounge decks.

One potential drawback about 11006 is that the stateroom could can heat up very quickly because of the massive floor to ceiling windows. Although it was a bit hot before we embarked, we quickly figured out that if we remembered to shut the curtains before we left the stateroom, then we had no issues. The air conditioning in the room also worked well, so we never felt over-heated. When the sun went down we typically had all of the curtains open so that we could enjoy the stars.

Our stay in 11006 during our December 2025 cruise was peacefully quiet and simply magical. We loved our location at the front of the ship. We do realize that we were blessed with calm seas during our sailing -- had the seas been rough, our stateroom would have rocked and rolled a bit given its forward location. While we weren't a hop, skip, and a jump from the Concierge Lounge spaces on decks 12 and 13, our location on deck 11 didn't bother us. We felt that our location wasn't that far away from our friends who were staying in a concierge stateroom down the hall from the Lounge on Deck 12. It was a quick walk down the hallway and up the stairs to reach the Concierge Lounge!

Because there are only two concierge oceanview staterooms with this corner large size panoramic ocean view configuration on each of the Wish class ships, the availability to book them is a rarity. Consider yourself lucky if you ever have the opportunity to stay in one of these "secret suites." Global Wishes has also stayed in non-concierge verandah "secret suites" on deck six aft we stayed in Stateroom 6696 on the Disney Treasure and in Stateroom 6196 on the Disney Wish. We enjoyed these non-concierge staterooms immensely -- they have verandahs that are quite long and their aft location makes It easy to get up to Quiet Cove. That said, if you can find it in your budget to upgrade to concierge, do look to see If concierge stateroom 11006 (or 11504 if you are needing accessible) is available. If it does pop up as available in the booking engine, we highly recommend booking it before someone else snags it!
